Ditch those go-to nudes and dive into summer head first with an eye-popping Statement Lip like the one shown above. Don’t shy away from these bold shades this summer. Try pairing this look with a neutral eyelid, lot’s of lengthening black mascara, and naturally flushed cheeks. It’s fresh and super feminine. This is my new favourite look of the moment! M.A.C. Cosmetics has come out with a new line of lipsticks called Pro Longwear Lipcream. Take your lip colour from day to night with this lightweight, creamy lipstick that promises to stay put for 12 hours. Unlike most long-wear products, M.A.C.’s product doesn’t feel dry or tight on the lips at all, it actually has a really smooth texture, which is so important in a lipstick. For this look I’m obsessed with the shade Love Forever! , a gorgeous Fushia colour. This product will try to a nice matte finish, leave as is, or top off with a gloss.

These are my absolute favourite glosses from M.A.C. They are super shiney, soft and sheer with just enough colour to make a statement. Wear on it’s own, or layer on top of lipstick. 
To pack a punch, try applying a bright coloured pigment to your lips. M.A.C.’s Pigment in Fuchsia can be layered on top of your lipstick to intensify your colour for a nice matte effect.
