Kelly and Tosh’s Pretty in Pink Wedding

I am so excited to post pictures from Kelly and Tosh’s gorgeous wedding-I love all the pink!!!  Kelly was referred to me by one of my past clients, Heather and I couldn’t have been happier to help this super cute bride-to-be plan her perfect wedding day look.  She is not only adorable, but hilarious.  My senior stylist Carla and I had the pleasure of helping Kelly and all her bridesmaids get ready and the entire morning was filled with laughter.  I have to say that the most memorable moments that morning came from Kelly’s Grandma…I have never laughed so hard, she was beyond hilarious.  I can’t share all of her brilliant comments that morning, but that lady sure has some spunk, I love it!  Kelly looked stunning on her wedding day, everyone was so excited and thrilled to be a part of her special day, it was obvious her wedding was going to be an amazing event.  Check out her beautiful photos.

Crystal’s Vancouver Wedding

Lindsay is one of our superstar Lead Senior Stylists at All Dolled Up Makeup & Hair Studio and she had the pleasure of helping gorgeous Bride Crystal get ready for her romantic wedding held at Vancouver’s Shaughnessy Golf Club.  Crystal was such a sweet bride throughout the entire booking process.  She chose Lindsay after browsing through all of our stylist portfolios online and was so happy with the end result.  All of our brides love Lindsay because she is not only a kick-ass makeup artist, but she really knows how to listen to what the Bride really wants on her wedding day.  At All Dolled Up Studio we really understand that each and every bride is special in their own way and we strive to accommodate every brides unique request.  Lindsay has an excellent personality and a knack for making every Bride feel relaxed and pampered on their special day.  We are very lucky to have Lindsay on the All Dolled Up Studio Team!

Makeup Inspiration from Europe

 

 

I feel so guilty for not blogging anything new and exciting the past month, but I was off in Europe enjoying some well-deserved time off and then came back to wedding season in full swing…it’s been a busy couple weeks here in the Studio, but I wanted to quickly share some of the gorgeous makeup and hair inspired shots from various magazine’s I collected while in London and Barcelona.

I love all the vibrant colour popping up on the runways this season.  It’s gorgeous and makes me want to dust off that old classic MAC colour “electric eel” hiding at the bottom of my kit.  I used to rock that bright turquoise colour almost every weekend!

Diana and Sandy’s Engagement Session

Last summer I met this lovely Bride-to-Be while doing her makeup and hair for another wedding.  I was so excited to hear about her own nuptials and delighted that she would like the team at All Dolled Up Studio to help her and her bridal party get picture perfect for her own wedding day coming up on May 19th.

Diana decided to hold her trial on the same date as her engagement session.  This is an excellent way for Brides to see how they will look in pictures on their actual wedding day.  These adorable pictures were taken at Granville Island.  They’re bright, colourful and super fun…such a perfect location for this cute couple.  I can’t wait to see her “all dolled up” on her wedding day, but here’s a sneak peek of Diana before she takes the plunge.

Some Boudoir Inspiration

Lindsay and David’s Funky Engagement Shoot

Lindsay decided to hold her Bridal Trial Makeup and Hair appointment on the same day as her engagement session.  She was really excited about the shoot and she looked gorgeous.  I was really looking forward to seeing Lindsay’s pictures, but wasn’t expecting to see such cool, unique shots as these.  Lindsay and David’s session was shot by uber talented photographer Amber Hughes from Amber Hughes Photography.  Everything about these shots scream vibrance, creativity, fun, funky…I adore these images.  The colours are fantastic, Lindsay’s adorable polkadot dress against that bright green background looks amazing!  I can’t wait to work with Amber at Lindsay and David’s wedding in May…more fantastic pictures to look forward to!!!

Chelsie gets “All Dolled Up”

I’m so happy to have worked with Chelsie, she is literally one of the most adorable Brides I’ve worked with.  Not only is she drop dead gorgeous but she was just as sweet as pie!  Chelsie was actually referred to me by a friend of mine, but ended up losing my contact information…only to find out after her wedding that she ended up booking with All Dolled Up Studio without even realizing it was the same company she was referred to, must have been fate 🙂
